Winner of CPP 2011 Stanislav Krupar from Reflex magazine is showing journalists his winning picture “Disturbances in Northern Bohemia”, Varnsdorf, 10th September 2011
Winner of CPP 2011 Stanislav Krupar from Reflex magazine is explaining that although he systematically photographs all neo-Nazi provocateur activities, this time, to his great surprise, the neo-Nazis and the “cheaters” freeloading on social tension in Varnsdorf, were also joined by decent people and a ‘pogrom’ was about to happen. It was prevented in time by the police.

ALENA DVORAKOVA – VIKTOR FISCHER, Afisphoto, are talking about their Grant of Prague – City and Water... The Grant was awarded on the basis of their work-in-progress where the photographers explore the phenomena of water and the role water plays in the lives of the inhabitants of Prague.
1st prize – Golden Eye – JAN CAGA, freelance; Toxic Mud in Hungary, Devecser, Kolontar. “I vomited the evening after taking the photographs ... I am not sure whether it was psychological or because of the fumes from the mud...”
MICHAL KAMARYT, CTK (1st prize Sport) explains how he shot the picture of the Finnish ice hockey player Mikael Grandlund scoring a goal at the Russian goalkeeper Konstantin Barulin during World Ice Hockey Championship in Bratislava.
PETR TOMAN (1st prize portrait), Boomerang Publishing: Liquidators from Chernobyl, Ukraine, Kyiv. “Who goes to Chernobyl once, he keeps returning...”
LADISLAV KAMARAD (1st prize Nature and Environment), freelance. He took pictures of the Milky Way in Sumava and the star track in Krkonose using a special photo technique.
